ThredUp: Online Thrift Store App Reviews

I sent a ThredUP clean out bag in late March and it was supposed to be processed by April 19th. I havent heard anything. I have spoke via email with customer service and they do not know where my bag is. I had many expensive items in my bag. Some were brand new with tags over $100. I am very disappointed in this service. I hope that they contact me regarding this problem to fix this situation.

I get most of my clothes from thrift stores. The selection is amazing as is the convenience of a thrift shop at my fingertips!

I pray TU doesnt grow too big too fast- that the idea of shutting down or having to import/employ not within the USA has to ever cross their minds. Its very important to stay all American IMO. Perfect for budget shopping! I wish there were more free shipping options though. Selling- I wish I didnt have to pay a fee for items they dont want.

This app is so enjoyable. I like thrift shopping for most my clothes and this is convenient. Once there was a problem with my second shipment, I emailed them straight from my shipment notification email and the next day they were on it, soon found out the problem and sent me a new tracking number. All I have left to try out, is mailing them some of my good donatable clothes with the free packaging they sent me by my request.

Easy to navigate. Love the "Refine" tab to filter through tons of options. One wish list item is to be able to see and manage my items that are on sale.

I am addicted to this app! Love finding great deals for my kids!

Love this site. The clothes are nicer quality than expected. Such a better alternative than spending hundreds at one store. Plus they offer coupons on top of the great prices. Super impressed

Im torn as to how to rate Thred Up. The quality of what Ive purchased is good and pricing is reasonable - certainly better than buying new. However, like many others, Im not impressed with the benefit of trading in clothes through Thred up. If the idea is trading up, its lost on me when a giant bag of like-new, brand name items gets you less than $3. I would rather donate and get a better tax right off and just buy from Thred up. Alternately, a consignment shop would offer much greater value for trades if you have the time.

I am deeply disappointed and surprised when I received my payout information from Thread up. This company scams people into thinking they are getting money back for items never used. I have sent over 60 lbs of clothing to them and received a disgusting payout. I would not recommend using this app to purchase or sell items.

I honestly got this more as a way to kill time and never expected to actually find anything I like but Ive bought 3 items so far and I love them! Everything has been exactly what I expected and all for a great price. :)

Ive been ordering for a couple of months now and have not been disappointed in any of my purchases. Easy shopping and easy checkout. Thanks Thred Up!

love the clothes!

I love packing up my clothes and shoes and sending them to ThredUp. I dont like that there is not a place for me to go into my account and check and see what items have sold so that I can keep track of what is being sold. That way it would give me a better idea of what items to send to ThredUp and what items to donate to my local Goodwill. I go to my account and it doesnt tell me anything. I have sent in several bags of clothing but I am unable to find where I can keep track of the items.

Returns, shipping and clean out bags processing is sloooow. Like new condition of items are questionable. Had to return a few pieces since the "you may confuse them as new" is a joke. Items are worn, faded, stretched. Clean out bag pay out is a joke as well despite following their rules 100%. Im done and deleting this app. Sent out 2 clean out bags and made 4 purchases. Trying to give them a chance but disappointed all the time.
